Twiline Cattery was founded by me, Christallin Twiline-Tabb. My love for Siamese began when as a young lady of about 23 years old, my mother suggested we attend a local cat show. Being curious, I agreed to attend. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the mouthiest, talkingest, naughtiest little cage full of kittens I had ever seen! This cage full of Siamese babies was my gateway to the cat fancy and a love affair was born. The cattery name “Twiline” was chosen to honor my first registered Siamese kitten, Champion Fuzzfur Twila Delightful of Twiline, a female seal point. The cattery was officially registered with the Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. in 1985. I bred and showed successfully for several years when my life changed dramatically as a result of a dramatic conversion. I became a Born Again Christian and returned to school. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling, I was determined to return to breeding my beloved Siamese. God helped me to do just that and now... “WE’RE BACK!” The New Generation of Twiline started with a telephone inquiry to an unknown breeder in a far off place. Things have changed so much since I was active in breeding before. There are so few Siamese breeders in Michigan, and fewer still willing to sell a kitten for breeding that my search took me all the way to Phillips Wisconsin, home of Lois Koblizek and Koblizek Siamese. Lois had a little girl kitten, a blue point like I wanted, I was told that she was “nice, her ears aren’t coming out of her shoulders but I think you’ll like her.” Lois forwarded pictures (below) and we joyfully picked up Little Di on December 20, 2005. Our Queen of Hearts- Little Di- from kitten to Grand Champion New Mom! At Di’s first show as a new Grand Champion, I was blessed to become acquainted with Betsy Arnold of Shera Len cattery, Rochester New York. Betsy had a stunning blue point Grand Champion female that was the first cat to ever defeat Di in a show ring. After licking our wounds and congratulating Betsy, she was so kind as to offer a stud service from her Grand Champion From Kitten to Grand Champion!
